Excess baggage charges apply for adults, children and infants in case baggage weight and/or dimensions exceed the free baggage allowance.

Exceptions:
*Infants not occupying a seat are allowed 1 item of baggage free of chargeup to 10 kg (dimensions of which must nit exceed 115 cm) plus 1 fullycollapsible buggy or 1 baby basket or 1 child car seat. The free checked baggage allowance for infant cannot becombined with the free checked baggage allowance for adult. The excess of thefree checked baggage allowance or dimensions given for the infant will resultin application of the above excess baggage charges.
**Seamen are allowed 2 items of baggage free of chargeup to 23 kg each. Theexcess of the free checked baggage allowance or dimensions given for the seamenwill result in application of the above excess baggage charges.

Important notes:
If the itinerary is exclusively on domestic sectors (within Romania) 24% VAT isincluded in the above mentioned charges.
Free baggageallowance as well as excess baggage charges apply per one way itinerary (not per flightsegment). For example Iasi Timisoara Bergamo shall be considered Iasi Bergamo forthe purpose of calculating the free baggage allowance and eventual excessbaggage charge that will not be calculated twice, once for Iasi Timisoara andagain for Timisoara Bergamo
The maximum dimensions ofchecked baggage must not exceed 203 cm or 80 in (length + width + height),wheels, handles, side pockets, etc. included. The transport of baggageexceeding the maximum single item weight of 32 kg and/or the maximum dimensionsof 203 cm is subject to special transport conditions and has therefore to bepre-notified and confirmed by the airline at the time of booking.
Weight of standard piece: to establish the standard weight perpiece, fractions between 23 and 24 kg shall not be taken into consideration;the piece of 24 kg shall be considered as extra weight baggage.
Cumulating weight of pieces: respective weights of pieces presented bythe passenger for transportation as checked baggage shall not be cumulated,each piece being considered individually and charged according to the above table.
Cumulating number of pieces: if two or several persons travelling together on thesame flight and to same destination come together and at the same time forcheck-in, they are entitled to cumulate the number of pieces of baggage allowedindividually free of charge for transportation; however dimensions and weightsof such pieces shall not be cumulated.
For ticket issued on/before 14 September 2012, the excessbaggage charges differ, depending on your itinerary.
For international flights we charge 1.5% of the highestpublished fare for the itinerary concerned. You can ask your travel agent whatthe excess baggage charge in your case would be. The average prices are 5 - 6EUR/kg, but for your comfort, please ask for the exact information each timeyou fly. For domestic flights we charge 2 EUR per each kg exceeding freebaggage allowance.
